I play with AMD myself and I like it but there are problems you get with it like some games are made to run with Nvidea and not AMD but thats all I know about it.

Wait a little bit, the gtx 10-series are going down with the price because of the new 1080 TI.
1080 is cheaper already ( 560€ )

Well GeForce was really powerfull those past years, I thought AMD would match back with the new building, but it didn't...
To me Geforce has a better system for updating and it heats much less

My answer would be on 970 then

What kind of case do you use? because some cases are too small for some gpu

Ye Wafel, this is the price for a "old" 1080 just at the moment. The 1070 / 1060 are cheaper ;)

You have to check your power supply unit too

You'll probably need 2 6/8pins connector to plug it

I am pretty sure that if you buy a 900-series card from new, it will be overpriced since they aren't fabricated anymore. If you are going to buy a new card, i would go for the 1060/1070 if you have the money.

That's correct! I bought a 1060 for 259 euro, the 3GB version. If I had the money I would have bought the 6GB.

Buy one. Playing gta 5 with only 15 fps is bad. xD
